Hope Embaced

Hope is where our hearts are found,

and these four letters, do mean so much,

Our hopes are where our spirits all will thrive,

never, in their needing a crutch.

We shall lean upon the shoulders, so strong,

that our friends, do each to spare,

The road of life is such a hard one to trek,

much easier, when we all share.

The trials, the tribulations, all faced,

become the joys and jubilations, graced,

The acts of kindness, and without a regret,

speaks the best of humanity, yet.

When we cross the line, go beyond the door,

in helping those, then our spirits soar.

The earthen soil, holds the signs of care,

as a reflective pool, is ours to share,

The hopes of tomorrow, formed by us today,

by what we do, and in what we may say,

The gates of truth, are to open walkways, wide,

Its strength determined, with no wrongs to hide.

The spoken words, that each one shares,

as is written forms, our blessed prayers.

The dreams of the young, the acts they require,

to increase the wills, and of those to inspire.

Hope, that gracious quality, found inside us all,

resides within the greatest, and alike, in the small,

the heartfelt soul, with its fond blessings bestowed,

to lift the great burdens, of our heaviest loads.

Eclipsing the desires and weaknesses of man,

no greater gesture, than the helping hand.

The universal gift, to receive this embrace,

of the welcoming arms, and our Father's face.

WE always want to go home, at least in our memories, don't we?

You are innately a good man. How else can you vividly articulate such love for your fellowmen?

Thank you as always, Bong. I really appreciate your valuing me as loving my fellow man. My greatest hope is that what I may write not only supports others in their feelings, but helps to win some over in their thoughts about life.

Magical things happen when human spirits come togther and combine their synergy. Too many among us believe that feat can only be accomplished by a government. Sadly, that is not the case. One human being reaching out to another demonstrates far more strength than the powers of any government in our world. Nicely done! ~WB
