How To Play The Game Awkward Family Photos

Family Awkward Family Photos

1. Turn over the top photo card and place it face up in the middle of the board.

2. Roll the die and read aloud the corresponding question from the Roller's Menu surround the board.

3. All Players, except the roller, write an answer for the question.

4. All answers are collected shuffled and read aloud by the player to the right of the roller.

5. After hearing all of the answers the roller must first pick his/her favorite answer, and then guess which player wrote which answer.

6. The reader reveals the results.

  • The player who wrote the roller's favorite answer places one of their five chips on the space on the board that matches the photo card in play.
  • In a four or five-player game, if the roller matches 2+ answers correctly, the roller places one of their chips on any open space on the board.
  • In a six-player game, the roller must match 3+ answers correctly t o place a chip on the board. The first player to either place all five of their chips on the board or three of their chips in a row on the board (vertically, diagonally or horizontally) wins the game!

How Can I Prepare My Child For Pictures?

Make sure your child is well rested before pictures. For newborns and toddlers make sure that they are well-feed, and not suffering from gas or teething problems beforehand.

Using your own hand held camera take pictures of your child so that he/she will become comfortable on the day of your photo shoot.
