Slavery, You Are All Slaves To Nature!

The Bloody Trees, Bloody Mother Nature - Grump!

This is just a thought about mother nature. I wanted to turn a thought upside down. This perception is meant to be funny and emphasise people in modern slavery - slavery to mother nature.  It seems we aren't actually in control of our environment - although we like to think we are!

So, people like us think we control mother nature. We are top of the food chain and, as clever little monkeys; we devise tools for every aspect of our lives in this control.

Have you ever thought, however, that this might not necessarily be so? We take from our environment and reconstruct it into useful resources; but maybe there is a hidden agenda? Maybe nature nurtures humans!

We are so obsessed with control. We go into our gardens and fields and spend endless time sowing, cutting back and tidying. So, what are the plants doing whilst we are clearing up and after them? NOTHING! They are just swaying in the breeze, taking in the sun and sucking up what us MUGS are providing for them!

O.k., So, there are some benefits to us. We breathe, eat and eliminate what is produced. Lo and behold, mother nature then has a free lunch! Outrageous! This is modern slavery at its worse!  The trees are the worst culprits. They have some audacity, those trees! They demand cutting back by overgrowing – over my pathway!

Then, to add insult to injury, they drop their leaves! Mother nature does it again!  They’ve got me cleaning up after them again! They’ve got some nerve, you know! If I were to drop my clothes and go naked in the street, I’d get prosecuted! And as for those evergreens…they are nature’s pimps! They are getting off on the fact that some dirty old oak is behaving pornographically! Free porn for all! Disgraceful! Not only that, the stripping oaks, enjoy it!

Oh My God! Put Some Leaves On! Gee!

Disgusting! *blush*
Disgusting! *blush*

Mother Nature - You've Been Sussed!

We take of the earth, mix it with a little of this and a lot of that. Just like a recipe. These individual components of nature don’t moan or object – it just lies back and lets it happen. Just like ‘pampering’ at the local masseurs. If we didn’t do it, nothing would get done! So, we organise and unite nature’s components, thereby, changing into something new. Again, mother nature is condemning ordinary people into modern slavery!  Surely, you can see this???

Okay, we might make use of the new item, but without our input, the component would stay as it has always been. We are slaves! Just think of the planning, research and organisation it takes to create something wonderful from things of simplicity.

Concrete, for example, we take from the earth in various parts, create a soft substance that turns hard and organise it so as it is useful. Just like a metamorphic butterfly, components have changed into something new. We might lay it to make a road – nice.. tidy… organised and creative! This would never happen if it weren’t for our hard work. As I said, we are slaves!

So now you can see it. That of ‘so called’ inanimate objects has modified human’s behaviour! We work our bottoms off for nature, free of charge! We will also pay others if we can’t do it for ourselves!

This is worse than slavery! Nature works off the basis that if we don’t serve it, then it gets chaotic and totally takes control. Over time, she will wear away what we have created for her and within her. She will destroy and ruin, until some other mug comes along and makes good. She wins both ways! WE ARE THE SLAVES!

We mould the world. So, who controls whom? You can’t develop any behaviour modification programmes for mother earth. No A.P.I.E. (Assess, Plan, Implement and Evaluate) principles can apply here – there is just no reasoning with her!

She goes her own way, manipulates and takes advantage of our cleverness. Manipulation is formed on the basis that one knows that one is being used - we are now aware… LOOK OUT MOTHER NATURE – YOUR COVER IS BLOWN!

So now this concludes a 'just a thought' theory. Irrevocably, human beings are slaves to mother nature!  Modern slavery is alive and kicking in a garden near you!

Nature Takes Over! Who Really Has Control?

Life After People

'Life After People' is a television programme by the History Channel.  It asks what would happen to the earth should people suddenly disappear. It demonstrates, essentially, that should the 'slaves to nature' no longer control nature, that mother earth quickly reclaim the planet and engulf our creations, quickly reversing the effects of our efforts!.  You can buy Life After People on DVD from Amazon.

Your so right, nature is the ruler the land of earth... We are like the leaves of its tree of life, its product if you see we are water and mineral, biologic machines derived from earth substance...

The other way of looking at is the earth is us...We are the heirs of the earth... Is it not ironic that we don't appreciate what our earth has given us...

Interesting read, thanks...

That is too true. Cleaning after the trees, pulling up weeds, and don't forget the birds that leave droppings on our windshields...EVIL.

Mother Nature is always in control and we humans are merely frightened pensioners in her wake. Order? We hairless monkeys don't know the true meaning of order! Hmph! Great hub as usual, my friend. :-)

Hey Denno! You are totally right... we think we have order but only in some chaotic way! Is that possible? It seems so!

Thanks for reading best boy! x

"Slaves" could be one way of looking at it... I personally feel we are simply "Stewards" of the earth and should try our best to replenish that which we use. Certain natural resources can never be replaced such as mineral oars and oil, so we should use them wisely and sparingly... Interesting read... Well done.

Thanks Steppeno. I wrote this with a bit of tongue in cheek really. But it makes me wonder which one is the wisest? The trees or us monkeys? hehehe x

We must go with the nature. Otherwise we'll lose a lot!
