Home Alone 2: Lost in New York

I'm lost in the big apple

The cast is back for another adventure in the life of Kevin McCallister (Mackulay Culkin), as his family ends up accidentally leaving him behind again for the holidays. In a remarkable twist of fate though, instead of leaving him home alone again, Kevin gets on the wrong plane to head to New York city while his family heads to some tropical island for the holidays. At first Kevin indulges in the fact of having his own private vacation away from home as he takes in the sights and plays at a toy store with his parents money and misplaced credit cards. He's even able to con a prestigious hotel staff into letting him stay with deluxe accomodations. However, like the last movie, Kevin soon realizes that he misses his family too much to enjoy his vacation without them as he tries desparately to cope. Plus, what "Home Alone" movie would be complete if they didn't have a bunch of morons for Kevin to fool and set up traps galore for? Which brings up the return of the formerly known "Wet Bandits", now known as the "Sticky Bandits", Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern) to add comedy to the yule tie movie. Essentially, this movie plays out almost exactly how the first movie did, except it takes place in a more larger scale with New York city as apposed to it being set in Kevin's house like last time. But hey, its still funny as **** to see Harry and Marv get blown up and get hit in the face with bricks though. Basically its more of the same, but it'll be good for a laugh or two during the holiday season.

Same here. Even though its been almost a decade since that movie came out, it's still ranks as one of my favorite holiday films. :)
