Ingrid Bergman, a Great Actress and a Beautiful Woman
Ingrid Bergman was a Swedish actress who made it big in Hollywood after starring in Swedish, German, French, Italian and British films. After coming to Hollywood she was nominated for seven Academy Awards and won Oscars for "Gaslight," "Anastasia" and "Murder on the Orient Express." However, her most popular film was "Casablanca" in which she co-starred with Humphrey Bogart. Her role in the movie based on Hemingway's Spanish civil war novel, "For Whom the Bell Tolls," in which she co-starred with Gary Cooper was also one of her most popular films. Bergman also won two Emmy Awards and a Tony Award for Best Actress. She is ranked as the fourth greatest star of American films of all time by the American Film Institute. Isabella Rosellini is Bergman's daughter.
