Who Is Paige Wyatt?

Paige Wyatt is more than just a pretty face, though she certainly has that too!

The 17-year-old is enjoying success on the reality TV scene with Discovery’s hit show American Guns. American Guns features Paige and her family, a typical suburban family with a twist. Intrigued?

Meet the Wyatts.

The TV show stars Paige Wyatt, her parents Renee and Rich, and her brother Kurt. The twist?

The family own Gunsmoke, a leading firearms facility located outside of Denver, Colorado. Paige is hands on at Gunsmoke, where the Wyatts buy, sell and trade firearms that range from hand cannons to hunting rifles. She may only be 17 but she’s ready to help test rifles and to be a TV star!

Interview with Paige Wyatt

Given the unique platform of American Guns, I had a few questions for Paige when I interviewed her today. She has great answers to my questions about her lifestyle and the TV show:

What is your job position at Gunsmoke?

"I am part of the sales team, but right now I'm trying to get more involved in the gun builds."

When did you first start learning about firearms? Tell us a bit about that experience.

“As soon as I could! As a kid, I was always hanging out at Gunsmoke. And I would always be trying to learn new things.”

The Wyatt family has a great work ethic, as demonstrated in the TV episodes. Speaking of the show:

Do you watch the American Guns episodes as they air on television?

“Of course! I love seeing the finished product on the big screen.”

The Interview Continues!

Paige, how has being a reality TV star changed your life?

“It has made it a lot busier, and a lot more fun with all of the new things I get to do!”

What are your career goals? Do they involve the firearms industry?

“I’m really trying to get my foot in the door to the modeling world. I really love it and definitely have a passion for it.”

Okay, I can’t resist asking this last question given the nature of the family business at Gunsmoke:

How do guys react when you tell them your family owns a firearms facility?

“It depends on the guy; sometimes they think it’s awesome! And other times they get scared away.”

The TV Show on Discovery Channel

Viewers have certainly not been scared away by the 17 year old and the rest of her family on American Guns. The TV show is back for its second season!

American Guns airs each Wednesday on the Discovery Channel. Paige Wyatt knows her rifles and she’s got a great TV career ahead of her too. See what happens at Gunsmoke this week!

Thanks Julie for sharing your opinions about Paige and the show. Your opinions add to the article.

I enjoy the family dynamics of the show but it's very distracting ( more so disappointing) for Paige to demonstrate so little self respect. It's very difficult to take her seriously which is unfortunate because it sounds like she may know what she's talking about most of the time. Please Paige, cover yourself. Young girls see your breasts before they hear your words. It's very sad.

Very interesting, I didn't know about this, will have to find it and watch it. I learned to shoot by age ten, so this is up my alley.

@Jennifer, thanks for weighing in on Paige's role in the TV show.

I enjoy watching the show only toget discusted with her not wearing proper clothes on a TV show it never fails . I enjoy knowledgeable shows but tired of all the half dressed females that don't have much respect. You should cover what you have and keep that off tv. You would be respected more for that.

I never heard of them, but that is neat that you are in contact with a few famous people. I like reading interviews, and I have done a few with writers and artists over on the examiner.

Watch the show every week. The only part I don't cared for is when junk must be blown up when customers test their firearms.

Jarv 4 years ago

Never seen the show, although a lot of friends watch it. I actually went to HS school with the father, Ritchie.

I have never seen the show, but I think it's pretty awesome that you were able to interview someone who's on TV regularly. How'd you manage to land the interview? Mutual friends? Are you already famous yourself and I don't know it? :)
