Jessica Marie Alba is a famous American actress well known for her roles in Dark Angel, Sin City, Fantastic Four and Into the Blue. She is often listed by entertainment magazines as one of the most beautiful or sexiest women in the world.
Alba was born April 28, 1981 in Pomona, California to Mark Alba and Cathy Jensen. Dad is of Mexican descent while mum has Danish and French-Canadian ancestry. Her dad was in the Air Force and she grew up along with her brother, Joshua Alba, and her grandparents until she was sixteen. She is a sports fanatic.
She took her first acting class at age twelve and appeared in two national TV commercials for Nintendo and J.C. Penney. She was later featured in several independent films and was featured on TV in 1994.
Her big break came when Alba became the star, Max Guevara, on the Fox sci-fi TV series Dark Angel. Director James Cameron picked Alba from a pool of 1,200 candidates for the role of the genetically-engineered super-soldier. Since then her most notable roles ave been as an aspiring dancer/choreographer in Honey, exotic dancer Nancy Callahan in Sin City and as the classic Marvel Comics character Sue Storm, the Invisible Woman in the Fantastic Four. Jessica host ed t he MTV Movie Awards 2006.
She is the pretty American girl next door who once stated that she loves to have children of her own one day.
