Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman Striking Resemblance

Updated on October 21, 2010

Striking Resemblance

Almost everyone has some type of twin out in the world somewhere. This includes the average joe and even big celebrities who bare a striking resemblance to each other. It can often be a bit confusing if you see two look a likes and find out there not even related. You can think to yourself, are they twins? Perhaps they are related somehow? Then you find out the two people are not related at all. They just so happen to bare similar traits to each other in body, face, and stature. The two celebrities that look VERY similar are Natalie Portman and Keira Knightley. These are two well known actors, but I would imagine people can get them confused. They both are two very beautiful actresses.

Keira Knightley

Keira Knightley is most known for her role in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. She was a major character in all three movies. This movie is what mainly made her more widely known. She has been in a few films before this of course. One that should be noted is 1999 Star Wars Episode 1 the Phantom Menace. Many may not realize this, but both Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman were in this movie. Natalie Portman played Queen Amidala in the movie while Keira Knightley was her double. Keira was very young at the time though, only 12 years old. They picked a very good body double to play in this movie. Both of them have such similar features. Its quite remarkable how they look so much a like. I am fascinated on how they could find someone with such similar traits. Now whenever I see a movie with one of these actresses in it, I have to look up on IMDB(internet movie data base). Most know that Keira Knightley is the actress in the Pirates of the Caribbean series though. When it comes to other movies it may be confusing unless you were already a major fan of one of the two stars. Keira Knightley is very beautiful. She has such an amazing spark in her eyes.

Natalie Portman

Natalie Portman may most be known for her role in the Star Wars saga. She was in all three episodes of the epic Saga. Her role as Padme Amidala was a large role in the series. She was Anakin Skywalkers forbidden love in episode two and three. Some other movies include Cold Mountain, V for Vendetta, and Goya's Ghosts. Natalie has a remarkable beauty to her. She has beautiful eyes just like Keira Knightley does. It is possible, however, to tell them apart. If you look closely at their facial features, especially the eyes, they do look different. Particular when you look how each of them stare. The eye features are slightly different for each other. Originally, I thought Keira Knightley played in Cold Mountain. I researched it on the internet and found that it was actually Natalie Portman. She plays a mother who lost her husband in the Civil War and has to take care of her baby. She has a fairly small role in the movie, but does a very good of portraying her character. She lets the protagonist Inman  take refuge at her house. After he departs she is not in the movie again.

Celebrity resemblance

Both Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman are great actresses, and are very beautiful. Each of them have a very exotic stare in their photos. Quite a remarkable resemblance, and such a similar beauty that they both share . Perhaps they can be in the same movie again just like Star Wars Episode one? Except maybe next time they will both be the leading actresses starring together. Wouldn't that be a treat? Two celebrities with an undeniable beauty and resemblance.
