Movies With Names In The Title

My Favourites - © Sarah Masson 2011

While thinking about movies I realised that there are plenty with names in the titles. Whether it be just a name, nickname or a name within a title, there are a lot. Here is my list:

Bonnie & Clyde - This is one of my favourite movies. Based on the true story and events of the real crime duo who were on the run.

Dan In Real Life -I love this movie starring Steve Carrell. It tells the story of a man who is in love with his brothers' girlfriend. It's a great film, I really enjoyed this one.

Alfie - Jude Law stars as the one and only Alfie, a womaniser. He goes through so many women but something makes him stop and think about his lifestyle.

Donnie Darko - A strange but very unique fantasy/thriller.

Matilda - This is an awesome movie. I loved it when I was younger and I still love it now. It's a really cute and funny story about a little girl with special powers.

Ella Enchanted - Anne Hathaway plays the part of Ella. It's an awesome fairy tale movie, I really enjoyed it :)

Tristan & Isolde - A Romeo & Juliet style movie packed with love, jealousy and war.

John Q - Denzel Washington is amazing as John Q. Learning that he and his wife will have to pay a huge amount of money for this sick son to get his transplant, John reaches breaking point and takes the hospital staff and civilians as hostages until he finds out for sure that his son will get what he needs. A really moving story, great acting, awesome movie.

Bruce Almighty - The hilarious Jim Carrey does a great job with Jennifer Aniston in this comedy about being given the chance to play God.

Thelma & Louise -A story of two friends who take freedom to the next level. Starring Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis, and who can forget the young fresh-faced Brad Pitt :)

Napoloen Dynamite - A quirky comedy about a high school boy who just doesn't really fit in. Napoleon has a very unique character and is a joy to watch.
