My Official 2010 Emmy Nomination Predictions

So a week from today, the nominations will be announced for the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards. Here, I'm not going to break down each decision I make like I did a few weeks back with the drama, comedy and movie categories.

There are basically two reasons for this. A) That takes a lot of time for me to write (and a lot of time for you to read). B) Except for a few things, not a whole lot changed in my predictions. Still, I wanted to put my official, final guesses out there.

But right before I get into my predictions, here's a brief list of wish-list nominations I'd love to see (that probably ain't happening):

Overall, great predictions! I can't believe the nominees will be revealed next week! Anywho, here are my only differences in opinion (LOL):

Drama Actor - I'm not sold on Bill Paxton. Can you explain why you think he'll finally score a nom? Just curious.

Comedy Actress - Lea Michelle? I hope you know that's actually a risky prediction. I personally would love to see it happen, but I know a lot of people who don't think she will or should.

Comedy Supporting Actress - I actually think these are great predictions. Sofia from Modern Family is announcing the nominations bright and early next week, so it will be embarassing for the Emmys if they actually don't end up nominating her.

Comedy Writing - Whether it deserves to or not, Glee WILL get nominated here. Don't say I didn't warn ya. haha

Made for TV Movie - I keep hearing good things about Lifetime's Amish Grace, but IDK... we'll see.

TV Movie Supp. Actress - I expect one or both ladies from Temple Grandin (Catherine O'Hara & especially Julia Ormond, who plays her mother).

Other than those, you've got good solid predictions! I'm hoping most of them are wrong though and that the Emmys suprise us and nominate new blood, but alas... that's wishful thinking.

I think the other Lead Actor picks are locks. The 6th slot, I really have no idea. I'm just not seeing it happen for Denis Leary or Kiefer Sutherland, and Bill's show has momentum.

I've actually heard the opposite about Lea Michele. Every site I've checked thinks she's a lock, and even if she's not, my other backup (Tracy Ullman) probably has an even slimmer chance.

i've heard that lea michele has a slim chance to get the nomination, although i would definitely want her to get it. and what do you think the odds are of jonathan groff getting a guest actor nomination?
