My Ten Best Movies

As usual I have not chosen to give the reasons for my liking the movies listed here. They are here rather for their overall appeal. Some may not have acting worth its name in them. Some may be remarkable for their music. Maybe the storyline is what a movie is here for. Some people may not even have heard of some of the movies here but I am sure, if they take time off to watch them, they would not think me pedestrian in taste, which I hope they don't, to start with.  The only thing common to them all is that they are rather dated but then as they say in a clique  "Old is Gold".

Thanks

My favorite movie of all time was the Godfather, and I believe Godfather II might very well be the best sequel of all time.

Another good list, thanks!

My favourite movie is The Big Lebowski. Classic. Nice idea for a Hub, I may use that.

p.s. Mike - we all know that Toy Story 2 is the best sequel. Its far better than The Godfather Part II. So there :)

I've seen all on your list. My list would be different and I'll let you know if I ever get around to writing a hub about it. :)

Excellent list! Not a loser on the list. I'm currently into Jane Austen on DVD. She wrote only 6 novels, so the supply is limited, but her timeliness is quite amazing.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, staring Wilder, is my personal favourite. There is so much in there that viewers miss or take for granted. This is great list though. Though I confess I haven't seen a few too many of them. I'll have to remedy that :)
