New DVD Releases for December 2010

December is here and Christmas is but a few weeks away and there are some great new DVD releases out just in time for you to buy as a Christmas gift. Out of the many new DVD releases for December there are animations for younger audiences, thrillers for those who fancy something a bit heavier and even a trip back in time with an 80s remake.

Shrek Forever After

Run Time: 93 minutes

Having grown tired of living a normal life, Shrek strikes up a deal with Rumpelstiltskin in the hope of rediscovering what it's like to be an ogre again. But the evil Rumpelstiltskin dupes Shrek and sends him to an alternate Far Far Away where Rumpelstiltskin is the king and not only are ogres prey for hunters he's never ever met Fiona. So Shrek sets about getting back the world and the woman he knows and really loves.

Cobb is an expert thief, but he's no normal thief as whilst people sleep he goes into their minds and steals secrets. This extraordinary skill has made Cobb a popular man amongst spy teams but it also has it's down sides as he has to live life as a fugitive. But when he is offered the chance of getting his life back he takes it except rather than being emploed to steal secrets he's asked to plant thoughts in people's minds. Although not his normal job it is comething which Cobb should be able to do except for a devious enemy who seems to be one step ahead of him all the time.

But despite being an evil genius Gru is no match for 3 orphaned girls who see him as a prospective father and no matter how hard he tries he can't be evil to them.

After telling her best friend a little lie about having a romantic weekend with a college freshman, High school student Olive Penderghast suddenly finds herself the talk of the school as rumours spread. With a sudden burst of notoriety Olive becomes very popular and uses her sudden fame to help out a fellow student when she agrees to tell others that she slept with him as well. But as the lies get bigger and the rumours spread further Olive suddenly has to find away to stop things getting to wild before she gets kicked out of school.

Although a highly respected CIA agent, Evelyn Salt finds her credentails coming under close examination when a Russian spy claims that when the Russian President attends the funeral of the U.S. Vice President Evelyn will try and assassinate him. Forced to go on the run Evelyn is unable to warn her husband that he may be in danger and the only person who seems to believe that she isn't a Russian Mole is her CIA boss Ted Winter.

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps

After serving an 8 year stretch Gordon Gekko finds that on release he's no longer important and no one not even his daughter Winnie cares for him. But 7 years on and now a speaker peddling his book "Greed is Good" Gekko finds himself striking up a partnership with Winnie's fiancee Jacob as he tries to redefine himself in a new world. But Winnie is still cautious of her father an exactly what his intentions are as he tries to become a financial titan once more.
