New Gucci Mane Music

Gucci Mane - "Hurry"

Gucci Mane Makes Money Behind Bars

Gucci Mane is an unstoppable music creating machine matched only by Lil Wayne and Tupac in his worth ethic. You can see how fast he thinks of his raps in some of his freestyles that he spits strictly of the top of the head in the moment which is probably the reason for so much new Gucci Mane material that is continuously being dropped. Even while in jail, there is plenty of material for all of his fans to keep them content until his long awaited release.

Gucci Mane's new album, 'The State vs Radric Davis' has made it to number 1 in the Rap/Hip Hop album charts and 10 in the entire U.S. charts. This is his second album to be released on a major record label but since dropping the first album, he has dropped Atlantic Record and signed a new deal to Asylum Records and Warner Brother Records. Despite his lack of promotion from Atlantic and Gucci Mane dissing them numerous times, Back to the Trap House, which was released in 2007, reached 6 in the U.S. Rap charts.

The thing that is so incredible is that Gucci Mane was released from prison in early 2009 and then sent to jail in November of 2009. During that time, he recorded enough material for 2 full length albums, one of which has already been released while in jail, and the other which he plans to release while he is still in jail.

During his short time of freedom, around half of the year, Gucci Mane mixtapes have not been in lack of. Once released from jail in early 2009, Gucci Mane wasted no time to release his mixtape, Writing on the Wall, which was dubbed one of the best mixtapes to be released in 2009 so far. He then went on to record Gangsta Grillz The Movie 2: The Sequel with DJ Drama which was also a widely praised mixtape along with the first Gangsta Grillz: The Movie.

In the short time that Gucci Mane had, he released a series of 3 mixtapes called the Cold War series with DJ Drama, DJ Scream, and DJ Holiday. Diplo has also released a mixtape entitled 'Free Gucci' which is a mixtape of the best songs from the Cold War Series of mixtapes.Along with the Cold War Series, he also released Gangsta Grillz The Movie 3: The Burrprint 3 in 2010 with the one and only DJ Drama which was a major success in the mixtape game and probably his best mixtape of 2009 in many people's opinions.

New Gucci Mane songs are being released almost every day that aren't even featured on any mixtapes, or albums. Although Gucci Mane does not release all of his music on mixtapes, they usually eventually make it to a mixtape or most likely a few different mixtapes by some DJ.

It's incredible how much material one person can write and record in such a short time. It's been said from close friends of Gucci Mane that while in jail, his writing and raps have been getting much more creative and improved. We will be in store for some great music and a lot of it once Gucci Mane is released from jail again.
