Nisha Kothari - Intro

Nisha was born in Kolkata. She hails from a Marwari Jain family. She speaks Gujrati,English, Hindi & Bengali. Her family settled in Mumbai ans she did her graduation in Chemistry.Her father is a businessman in chemicals. She has an elder sister , who is married.

Priyanka Kothari was her initial name and she later came to be known as Nisha Kothari. Nisha's dad is a businessman and her mom a homemaker. Nisha is the youngest of two daughters.

Nisha kothari debuted in the name Amoga.

Early Works

Nisha first started up as a model and has been featured in a number of commercials. She got her big break and a great beginning when Madhavan saw her photos and recommended her . The movie, JayJay, did well at the box office.

She appeared in James directed by RGV the same year, Then she got a chance in The killer. she has not got many good offers, but does only less significant roles in less significant films.

Kollywood and Tollywood entry

Nisha has also done an item number in Kacheri Aarambam.She has acted in Okka Magadu and Madhyanam Hayta in Telugu and a few bollywood movies like- Go, Aag, Shiva, Darna Zaroori Hai,James, Sarkar,Agyaat. She has acted in a few tamil films-Karthigai, Jayjay, KAcheri Aarambam.She has also appeared in the kannada film-Raaj-The showman. Her career doesnot have a very good hit yet, but Nisha still waites with hopes to do big in the industry.

2003 Jay Jay - as Amoha.

2004 - Telugu cinema with Madhyanam Hathya.

2005 - Bollywood - Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar and James with Mohit Ahlawat.

2006 - yet another Ram Gopal Varma movie Darna Zaroori Hai and in a full fledged role as a bar girl in The Killer.

2007 - Shiva and Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag. In Aag, she played Ghungroo which was based on Hema Malini’s character Basanti in Sholay.

2008 - Telugu movie Okka Magaadu.

2009 - Kartigai, a Tamil movie & Raaj in Kannada.
