I've seen Orla perform in person. Her singing talent is a delight. Beautiful Irish accent. Her harp playing is unbelievably pure, straight from the heart. Her movements flow with the music along with her voice. Her performances are so graceful. Four and five part harmony no problem for her, right on key! She is and Irish treasure one of a kind. I'm looking so foreword to meeting her this spring, '08. I love her accent and hope for her future success. Love you Orla.

I think Orla's from another time. When you hear her sing, it's almost like you get the sense that she was actually around to hear these minstrel songs for the first time.

If you haven't heard her solo album yet, go find it. You won't be disappointed if you like soft beautiful Irish music.

Orlagh is no doubt, a great singer. I love Isle of Innisfree and Carrickfergus. She plays the harp with great emotion and from the bottom of her heart, and this combination, together with her warm and beautiful voice, toch my soul to the bone.

I have played music for 42 yrs and I have never heard such a mystical haunting voice as Órla's. She reaches the depths of your soul with songs. I just listened to the PBS Celtic Woman special 11/30/2009 without Órla in it. Celtic Woman has lost it's flavor with her leaving and has a hole left in it so large that I feel it can't be filled by any other person but Órla. It kind of reminds me of a Band playing and the bass player quits in the middle of the song. You can feel that something vital is missing without it.

Dear orla,

why were you not on the celtic women songs on the hear?

Keith Long 6 years ago

Two weeks ago I attended an Orla Fallon concert in Clogheen, Ireland County Tipperary during my trip to Ireland from Iowa. I was fortunate enough to meet her both before and after the concert. She is a beautiful person in all ways. The acoustics in the old church were not great but even so, Orla gave an outstanding performance. It was an experience that I shall never forget.
