Nicknamed “The Natural”, Randy Couture is a legend in the world of mixed martial arts. He fights very well. He's got charisma. He's got a million-dollar smile. Plus he's a gentleman. These are just a few of the characteristics that made him a star in MMA, especially in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship), the world's largest MMA organization. Couture has since retired from the sport and gone on to do other things. He started to spend more time on acting. He appeared in several movies while still active as an MMA fighter, but his biggest appearances came after he retired from the sport. These Randy Couture moviesare what this page is all about. Randy Couture Films Coming Out On 2012

  1. Geezers! - This is a comedy movie that stars JK Simmons, Scott Caan, Tim Allen, Basil Hoffman, and Breckin Meyer. It's directed by Michelle Schumacher. The movie will open in theaters come January 27, 2012.
  2. The Expendables 2 - This is a sequel to 2010's The Expendables. Couture will be reprising his role as Toll Road, the ensemble team's demolitions expert.
  3. Hijacked - Directed by Brandon Nutt, this film stars Dominic Purcell, Vinnie Jones, Holt McCallany, and Craig Fairbrass.


The Expendables 2 (2012)

This is the sequel to 2010's The Expendables. Couture joins the original cast that include Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, and Terry Crews. Also added to the team are Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Liam Hemsworth, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film is directed by Simon West who took over the directing role from Stallone.

Hijacked (2012)

Directed by Brandon Nutt (The Last Resort, All Along, Consummate Professionals), Hijacked is an action caper set in the sky. Randy Couture plays a special agent who plans on reconciling with his ex-fiance but such plans were ruined when the jet plane her fiance boards gets targeted by hijackers. It turns out that the hijackers are also working for the same crime lord that he is currently chasing.

The film also stars Dominic Purcell, Vinnie Jones, Holt McCallany, Tiffany Dupont and Craig Fairbrass.

Set Up (2011)

  • Directed by Mike Gunther, 'Set Up' stars Bruce Willis, Ryan Philippe, and 50 Cent. In the movie, Couture plays a character named Petey, an enforcer who works for a local crime boss.
  • The film is about three friends (Sonny, Dave, and Vincent) who plan a diamond heist but everything goes deadly when one of them betrays them.
  • Bruce Willis plays a dangerous mob boss.

The Expendables (2010)

Written by David Callaham and Sylvester Stallone and also directed by Stallone, 'The Expendables' is an ensemble action movie that brought together the biggest stars in the action movie genre. These include Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Gary Daniels, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.

In the film, Couture plays Toll Road, a demolitions expert.


Invincible (2006)

Couture made an appearance here as a 'Toruci' player. Directed by Ericson Core, 'Invincible' stars Mark Wahlberg, Greg Kinnear, Elizabeth Banks, Kevin Conway, Michael Rispoli, Kirk Acevedo, Dov Davidoff, and Michael Kelly. The movie is based on the true story of Vince Papale, who played from 1976-78 for the Philadelphia Eagles.


Today You Die (2005)

Couture appeared here as the bodyguard of a character named Vincent. Directed by Don E. FauntLeRoy, 'Today You Die' stars Steven Seagal, Anthony Treach Criss, Sarah G. Buxton, Mari Morrow, Nick Mancuso, Robert Miano, and Kevin Tighe.

'Today You Die' is about a former thief who gets out of prison and goes on a mission to exact revenge on those people who set him up.


No Rules (2005)

Randy Couture stars here with David Dunn, Tom Sizemore, Gary Busey, Pamela Anderson, Bruce Buffer, Gerry Anderson, Romeo Antonio, and Dian Bachar. Directed by Gerry Anderson, 'No Rules' is the story of a small town mixed martial artist and his desire to become an MMA champion. In pursuit of that dream, he is constantly haunted by the memories of his parents' double murder.


Cradle 2 The Grave (2003)

This is Randy Couture's first movie appearance. Along with fellow mixed martial artists including Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell, he made a cameo appearance as a fight club fighter. In real life, Couture fought Chuck Liddell thrice and Tito Ortiz once. He beat Ortiz while losing two of his three fights with Liddell.

Directed by Andrzej Bartkowiak, the film stars Jet Li, DMX, Gabrielle Union, Mark Dacascos, Kelly Hu, Anthony Anderson, and Tom Arnold.
