Resident Evil - Retribution - Review
So on september 28th 2012 Resident Evil - Retribution 3D was released in Brittain, being the latest film in the series there has been speculation as to wether it will out rank the others.
I and my partner went to see it on the release date in Vue Cinema, meadowhall, sheffield. The cinema its self is not the best ive come across, the seats are cramped and and the staff can be quite blunt, id mark it 2 out of 5 stars for the venue. So for the film, I am a big resident evil fan, not of the game but of the films, so i did not want to be disspointed.
The start of the film with the opening credits was simply outstanding especially in 3D, the director took the end of the last film and played it backward for the start up on the new one, you just have to see it to see how good it was. The overall begining was a little slow an dthe director made the film more like the games so meaning some action and not much storyline untill its nears the end. The film its self is more like a cut scene from a game, connecting the last and the next film together, Althought the grapics are amazing, the animated characters have so much detail they almost look real and with the 3D you feel as if your in the scene with them. I would reconmend that you watch this film before you see the next one so in a way its like an evil nessecery.
The series so far i would rate 5 out of 5 stars.
