Ringo Deathstarr offers a ride on an out of this world flight to the land of shoegaze that gives a smooth performance of cutting edge electronic bliss. Heavy influential sounds stemming from My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Sonic Youth, Ringo Deathstarr has rebirthed this influential sound right into the heart of Texas. Soft Vocals from Elliot Frazier with a dreamy distorted flow, mixes well with the hard hitting pulse of drummer Dustin Gaudet and intertwines gracefully with guitarist, Renan Mcfarland and bassist, Alex Gehring. In 2007 Ringo Deathstarr released a self titled EP featuring 'Swirly' which carries you on a spiraling journey with a heavy guitar and a shoegazy pop sound like no other. Another track from the album 'Sweet Girl' has an enticing drum beat that keeps you interested with lovely lyrics and raw guitar that swings on the edge of punk. Also, released as 7" LP's under the SVC English label include two songs on each LP including 'Summertime' and 'In Love' and another released under the Custom Made Music label 'You don't Listen' and 'Everytime I Leave You'. Lastly, the released LP Sprakler from the Vinyl Junkies label in Japan features the track 'Starsha' which is a stellar formation of musical art as its finest. Ringo Deathstarr is a 'must see' live performance and a creative collaboration as cool as the name. Upcoming show is "Wild Frontier Fest" at Mohawk September 11 starting at 2:30.
