Robin Thicke and Alexis Foster Duets Performances
Alexis Foster is one of eight amateur singers on the new TV show Duets. In this singing contest, each of the amateurs gets a celebrity partner to sing duets. Alexis's partner is R&B singer Robin Thicke. The other celebrities forming duos with participants include John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, and Jennifer Nettles. Duets will reveal the precise elimination procedure later. You can learn more by watching the premiere episode, which is broadcast on Thursday, May 24, 2012. The two-hour premiere starts on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
Alexis is a native of Tennessee. She is from Knoxville and is a 2012 graduate of the University of Tennessee. Foster states on her Duets bio page that she learned how to sing at school and in her church. She has no other formal training. This show seems to be for mostly amateurs, which could be a good or bad thing. I wonder how they found these 8 contestants but just hope that the picks were made based on talent.
This article will contain details on each of Robin and Alexis's duet performances after I have time to write a recap after the shows. Please come on Thursdays and share your opinions on the duets of Robin Thicke and Alexis Foster.
Alexis and Robin took to the stage in the first week of the Top 8 to sing "Magic." One contestant will be eliminated next week. Alexis looks pretty safe because she was 3rd in the scoring the first week.
