Funny Scottish Love Poem

Take yer pick Lass
Take yer pick Lass

A Scottish Love Poem.

(Who said Scottish guys aren’t romantic?)

A’ course ah love ye darlin’

Ye’re a bluidy top notch burd

An’ when ah say yer gorgeous

Ah mean every single wurd

So yer bum is oan the big side

Ah don’t mind a bit o’ flab

It means that when I’m ready

There’s sumthin’ there tae grab

So yer belly isny flat nae merr

Ah tell ye, ah don’t care

So long as when ah cuddle ye

Ah kin get ma erms roon’ therr

Nae wummin wha is yer age

Hiz nice roon’ perky breasts

They jist gave in tae gravity

But ah know ye did yer best

Ah’m tellin’ ye the trooth noo

Ah nivir tell ye lies

Ah think it’s very sexy

Ye’ve got dimples oan yer thighs

Ah sweer oan mah grannies grave noo

The moment that we met

Ah thocht ye wiz as guid as

Ah wiz goanie get

Nae metter whit ye look like

Ah’ll alwiz love ye dear

Noo, shut up while the fitba’s oan

An’ fetch anither beer!!.

I gotta learn the lingo on this Scottish thing. I enjoyed this very much. You have this laid out beautifully and it is easy to understand. Keep up the great HUBS. I gotta give this an Up ONE AND GREAT. I'm now your fan!

I'm pleased you popped in and left a comment, Reynold Jay. You'll find some mair Scottish wurds in ma ither hub - 'Using language to anger a Canadian.' Ye have me blushing here at your compliment and at ye becoming a fan.

'Aye, whae's like us? Damn few an' they're a' deid.'

Hello John - you are the Hub reincarnation of Robbie Burns - or is it Billy Connolly - lol - gee my mum and dad would loved this - they were both from Mel Gibson's hometown of Stirling (lol) .... sorry that was William Wallace - where my dad confessed to me he looked up my mum's skirt when they were walking up the steps at the Wallace Monument.

I love your sense of humor John and guess what we are fellow Canadians - I am sending you warm wishes and good energy from lake erie time ontario canada 7:1pm and thinking of my this Sunday as he was a 6 year veteran of World War II and landed on the Juno beach on D-Day.

Many thanks for your visit and comment epigramman. You have a very brave Dad - 1) For landing on Juno beach. 2)For admitting to looking up your mother's skirt. I looked up my wife's skirt at Wallaces Monument, but I have never had the courage to admit it until now.

Stirling was the very last place I visited before I came to Canada; I was fishing in the river Tay. I now live east of lake ontario.
