The Score

Christophe Beck (Machete Kills, R.I.P.D.: Rest In Peace Department) is scoring Runner Runner. It was previously reported that Chris Hajian (The Little Rascals, Men of the Cloth, We Made This Movie) is scoring the film. However, a blog post on Film Music Reporter, a daily film music news site stated that Canadian composer Beck has taken over the scoring duties.

Trailer Music Featuring Deadmau5

The first trailer for the film features a track by musician Joel Thomas Zimmerman who is known for his stage name Deadmau5 or Deadmaus. The song is called Fn Pig, a track from Deadmau5's 2012 album titled Album Title Goes Here. The song is the fourth track in the thirteen-track album.


Album Title Goes Here is Deadmau5's sixth studio album. The first five are Get Scraped, Vexillology, Random Album Title, For Lack of a Better Name and 4x4=12. These were released in 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010 respectively. Album Title Goes Here was released on September 21, 2012, spawning five singles. These are Telemiscommunications, Maths, Channel 42, The Veldt, and Professional Griefers.

It was reported that Deadmau5 will be making a cameo appearance in the film. The first trailer for the film at one moment showed Deadmau5's signature mask.

Jennifer Lee wrote the screenplay as well as co-directed the film with Chris Buck (Surf's Up, The Legend of Tarzan).
