Soul Pancake-A Worthy Website

Rainn Wilson

Open Your Mind and Insert a Little Soul Pancake

Admittedly, I am a Super Souler, watching Super Soul Sunday on the OWN channel most Sundays. It gives me balance from all the swirling chaos of my week and gives me spiritual ammunition for the upcoming one.

One Sunday morning some time ago, I saw Oprah’s interview with Rainn Wilson, the co-founder of Soul Pancake, and have been a follower ever since. http://soulpancake.com/

This website is loaded with interesting topics and videos such as Kid President, Metaphysical Pancake, Live a Little, The Flipside, Sub Cultures, My Last Days, Stories from the Street, Art Attack and Street Stunts.

The home page of their website states: “Our brain batter of art, culture, science, philosophy, spirituality and humor is designed to open your mind, challenge your friends and feel damn good.” Who can resist checking out such a statement?

In my opinion, Soul Pancake offers everyone the opportunity to be mindful and present. I stop for a little while to enjoy the perspective of others; sometimes laughing and other times crying, but never leaving the website without feeling inspired. Anyone of any age can get enjoyment from this website. My thirteen-year-old niece loves Kid President. We spend time together watching his videos and discussing his topics afterwards. He is adorable and funny, but most of all his topics are thoughtful and important. If you need some laughter and inspiration occasionally, check out http://soulpancake.com/. You won’t be disappointed!

Gratitude Website

Another website worth mentioning is http://thankingofyou.com/ . It is a website that people can visit to write words of gratitude to someone who has made a positive difference in their lives. On it, I thanked a high school teacher who refused to accept anything but my best work. We have since communicated and continue to touch base every few months to share our lives. I think expressing gratitude enriches the life of the giver as well as the receiver. Have you ever wanted to express your gratitude to someone who touched your life as well as your heart? If so, check out this wonderful website.

Fortunately HubPages gives us the opportunity to share our thoughts and our good finds. Today, I am paying it forward and hope you enjoy these good finds.

Up, Interesting, Awesome, and shared.

I took a quick look and thought the site to be corny, delightful, inspiring, instructive, stimulating, and worth revisiting.

Bus Stop Disco was a hoot, and My Last Days was the reality. Thanks.
