Cartoons Made By Children

Telekinetic Girl Intro, Flyby

Telekinetic Girl is a claymation cartoon made by my daughter (click on the video to the right to view it). After she completed the character and the stop animation of the figure doing the dishes, cleaning, vacuuming, etc I took it upon myself (at her request) to make develop a funny storyline, humorous captions and an intro for the animated short film.

The story follows a young girl endowed with super powers which she uses to clean the kitchen of her home with a somewhat comedic way of doing things. She falls face first on the floor to identify microbes with her microscopic vision, uses telekinesis to both pickup dishes and wash them. She teleports objects such as a broom and vacuum to aid in the cleaning effort and sweeps dirt into an alternate dimension. She finishes it off by using telekinesis to make the bottles and food on the counter and floor fly into the fridge leaving the kitchen "super" clean.

Originally when my daughter created this claymation I wasn't sure we would use it but upon viewing it a few times I realized it could be quite funny with humorous captions and a silly intro and thus with our combined efforts we achieved a short comedy. My daughter was quite pleased with the results and has nothing but smiles for the great comments we've received when we posted this video to our youtube channel.

Seeing this piece completed I feel as though we may want to continue with this type of animation and so are offering an open invitation to anyone reading this. If you or your children want to create or have created a claymation animation message us. We will be happy to come up with a funny storyline, captions and intro and send back the video to you. In exchange we would want to add the video to our YouTube channel. We will credit your child or yourself in the video if you wish as well. If my daughters excited response to my treatment of her animation is any indication I am sure your children we love it as well.

If you wish you may send us your work as an attachment through email to:superdaddytv@superdaddytv.com if you have any questions or if you are having trouble email us and we can help. For the moment check out the video at the top of the page to watch "Telekinetic Girl" to get an idea of what we can do. Do keep in mind we put it together in one afternoon so it's not incredible but it is funny.

If you want to forward this article to others I encourage it. Use the Facebook, twitter or Google+1, link at the top of the page or click the share button at the bottom of the page for other social networks. Others may find this of interest and want to send us their animations.

This was great (especially when she used her "microscope vision").

What I also think is great is not only your encouraging your daughter's creativity, but also that of others.

Wonderful.

That was awesome with a healthy imagination. My kids are nearly grown up now. That's OK though, I'm still a kid at heart. Still watching "Mystery science theater 3000" Like(The Beast of Yucca Flats).

Wonder if your daughter could clay animate a sketch between Crow T Robot and Tom Servo?

geffreytodd - I am a kid at heart too and loved doing this one with her. Not sure about the Crow T Robot and Tom Servo sketch though, thanks for commenting.

This one is amazing, I loved it and one talented little girl is lucky to be so encouraged: so nice to see.

I have to vote up up and away.

Take care and I wish you a Happy New Year.

Good work! Hope she continues her creative work. I used to live a short distance from Will Vinton studios in Portland, Oregon. Will Vinton pioneered the claymation art form.

See http://willvinton.net/history.htm

I also worked with a couple of ex-employees from the studio. One guy built the sets for this classic stop-motion animation commercial:
