The Cheater's Waltz

The Cheater's Waltz

by Chuck RitenouR 8-5-2013

Verse 1:
You never mention him, I never speak of her
as we dance around the truth weighing every word
of a love like a fire and we still feel the burn
while you were married to him and I was married to her.

Verse 2:
Whatever made us think we could ever walk away
from forbidden love and the game we loved to play.

While I'm still married to her and you're still married to him
I'm still married to her and you're still married to him

Not sure if I should laugh or cry. My bet this is an old recipe that every family has cooked up one time or the other.
