"Nobody puts Baby in a corner." - Johnny Castle, Dirty Dancing (1987)

Vestron Pictures, rated PG-13, 100 minutes.

Directed By: Emile Ardolino

Patrick Swayze - Johnny Castle

Jennifer Grey - Frances 'Baby' Houseman

Jerry Orbach - Dr. Jake Houseman

Cynthia Rhodes - Penny Johnson

Domestic Box Office Gross: $63,892,689

Synopsis: A young women spends the summer in a privileged holiday camp, with her family, only to fall in love with the bad boy dance instructor.

Fact: Jennifer Grey was ten years older, 27, than the part she played.

Trivia: Johnny and Baby are always wearing contrasting colors of black and white.

Movie Mistake: When Johnny prepares to dance he removes his jacket twice.

My Take: Dirty Dancing is one of three movies that made dancing movies cool, with Footloose and Flash Dance being the other two. It's worth seeing just to see the amount of cheese that goes along with the line "Nobody puts Baby in a corner."

I hate to say it but "Dirty Dancing" is one of my guilty pleasures. All the cheese, nostalgia and brilliant soundtrack can't fail to put a smile on my face even though I know I shouldn't like the movie.

It's definately a movie you wouldn't necessarily want your buddies walking in on you with.

I love Dirty Dancing! My girlies and I watch it all the time and have even seen the stage show. There's nothing like a bit of nostalgia!
