Fact: Matt Damon and Ben Affleck won an Academy Award for best original screenplay for this film.

Trivia: Premiere magazine ranked Good Will Hunting as one of "The 20 Most Overrated Movies of All Time"

Movie Mistake: Will's scars disappear when he's riding the subway after he's released from jail only to reappear after he gets off.

My Take: That blows me away that Premiere had that ranking. I really enjoyed Good Will Hunting and thought Robin Williams was awesome. I found the film to be fresh and original and I usually drop the remote when I stumble across it.

I was expecting "How do you like them apples" as your quote when I saw what movie you were doing. It just shows that some film magazines don't know anything because Premiere have got it seriously wrong.

Ha! I thought about the apples quote but I liked the message in this one. What do you consider to be overrated? I personally never got the whole Lethal Weapon series.

Well, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was overrated, a one trick pony of a movie. Hostel is seriously overrated and pretty much any movie which features Will Ferrell in the main role - I just don't find the guy that funny.

Please tell me that Anchorman isn't included on your list.

I hate to disappoint you but I really didn't like Anchorman. It maybe that the comedy and the whole set up is a very American thing which just doesn't have the same effect over here in the UK as there are various other movies which seem to work if you live in the States but not anywhere else.

Good Will Hunting is one of my favorite movies. I did like the "how do you like them quote" as well for one of my favorite lines in the movie. But I agree that your quote had a better message.
