The Human Spirit
There are things in life that break the human spirit and will to live at your best level. Here we are in October of 2015 experiencing the report of Lamar Odom on a cocaine binge found in a brothel unresponsive. Prayers are extended to Lamar Odom for his recovery. It is so hard to watch people spiral out of control. At times people believe that celebrity and money is the cure for life ills however it often shows as a magnifier for the problems and issues that one has. Although making the decision for rehab or counseling has to be an individual choice, it is sad to be surrounded by everything but drowning in pain and suffering without people concerned for your well-being. While everyone has their individual choice and free will we are our brother’s keepers when we know someone is spinning out of control. So here is this celebrity at a famous brother found unconscious and foaming at the mouth at the Love Ranch when the ambulance was called. Prior to that the prostitutes and owners could care less about an NBA star on a deadly binge because it fit their agenda and increased publicity even if they could be the witnesses of his demise.
