The Power To Create
A couple of days ago, I watched a Volvo commercial which stuck in my mind and resulted in this piece of writing. This is not because I love Volvo cars so much, or advertising but because in my opinion, this commercial has a good chance in inspiring others to have faith in their dreams and reach beyond the clouds.
In this video, Jean Claude Van Damme (the well known martial arts actor) stands on the mirrors of two Volvo trucks which are driving backwards and he does the splits as the two trucks move further away from each other. It sound fairly simple but I for one, who have trained in martial arts for quite a few years in the past, have an idea of what a stunt like that would take: impeccable intent, or as Van Damme says in the video: “a mind set to master the most epic of splits”.
I have no idea how many times it took him to get the entire stunt done perfectly; the clip actually begins with the words: “I’ve had my ups and downs ...” yet, perfection was achieved (in my opinion). The power of our Intent and Will is incredible when we focus on it and everything becomes possible: be that climbing the tallest mountain or doing the split on the mirrors of two moving trucks. I simply love that.
As the Beings we are, we have an infinite amount of options and possibilities in terms of what we wish to do/create. All we need to do is have the right mind set; to believe in our own power of intent and creation. The Spirit is unbreakable, it lives on.
There is not much else I wish to say here except that if anyone took the time to read what I wrote here, please take the little over one minute to watch the video.
I wish You Power. All the best!
