After several months of auditioning, singing for millions of people, and becoming a national celebrity, Crystal Bowersox has taken the runner up position for American Idol Season Nine crown. Her heartwarming performance of "Me and Bobby McGee," "Black Velvet," and "Up to the Mountain" on Tuesday, May 25th was not enough to catapult her to a win. Here is her performance below:
Crystal Bowersox is a 24 year old singer-songwriter from Elliston, Ohio. Since her first audition in Chicago with "Piece of My Heart," Crystal has received accolades during almost every performance. She has grown into a well-known and lauded celebrity since her first appearance, especially in her home state of Ohio.
