Not much is to be said about Christy Walton. She inherited all her fortune from her husband, John Walton, who died in a plane accident. John Walton was the son of the former Sam Walton who founded Wal-Mart. Interesting fact is that John had two brothers and a sister and all four of them inherited the fortune in equal parts at the death of Sam Walton together with their mother. Today Christy, her two brothers in law and her sister in law have a fortune in excess of 20 billion $ each. Basically, if Sam Walton would still be alive he would be the richest man on earth by far.
