Top 20 Combo Amplifiers
Now there are many reasons why I pick these amps just as in my other article I chose the heads. Most of these amps have the most all rounded sound out there. Yes some are expensive! But I also chose these amps for another reason. A amplifier 100 watts and above is what it takes to keep up with a drum set live. Any amp below 100 watts to me is a practice amp. Unless it's a Line 6 or an amp like Line 6 that has two XLR outputs on the back of it. The XLR outputs allow the amp to run through a mixer and this will allow the amp to be used kinda as a monitor while the sound also runs through the main house PA speakers and monitor speakers. As I said in my DreidMusicalX Intro Blog. You get what you pay for really, and if you want to do it right? Do it right the first time so you can learn with good sound and have a amp to play live with a band as well.
These are my top 20 choices of guitar amps I have either owned or have heard or played on that just rocked! These are not in order although the Line 6 Vetta II is something I would get over all of these amps. There are also a few other amps that I could recommend that is not in this top 20 list. But I wanted to keep it kind of short and a variety to choose from of amps I have owned or played on.
