Top Chef: Last Chance Kitchen 1

This is your Last Last Chance!

The booted cheftestants battle it out Quickfire style. If they want to stay in the game, the cheftestant must beast every eliminated chef until the finals. Wow, that sounds daunting. The task is simple: make the most delicious pizza in 30 minutes.

The lone judge is Tom.

Beware, if you click on the link below to watch the Last Chance Kitchen Episode, you will find out who will be eliminted in the current episode of Top Chef Texas. Spoilers abound, so beware.

Janine made a fig arugula pizza with honey truffle balsamic vinaigrette.

Andrew made a rustic Mediterranean pizza with slasa verde, capers and grilled calamari. Also, there’s no cheese, which was pointed out several times.

In a battle that lasted under 6 minutes 55 seconds, Tom says Andrew needed drizzle while Janine should have left her drizzle off. It was close and Tom enjoyed both dishes, but only one can continue on.

And the Winner is...

By a hair and as much suspense as Tom can pull out the winner is...

Andrew.

Tom encourages Janine to come back next season, because although her food was good, there was always a little something missing.

Hopefully, she'll fine tune her skills and be back next season for Top Chef Redemption Island...oh wait, nm.

Next episode will have the booted cheftestants from Top Chef S9-3 against Andrew in another challenge to make it to the finals.

Thanks, it's interesting to see them just judge the food and I'm glad Tom was the only one judging. Of any permanent judge, I find his pallette the most reliable.
