Toy Story 3 will be released on June 18th in the US, July 23rd in Europe and June 24th in Australia.
Introduction to Toy Story 3
Toy Story 3 is the third in the series of one of the most famous 3D animated films of all time. The Toy Story films follow the life of a set of toys owned by a young boy named Andy, little does he know the toys have a life of their own.
Toy Story 3 starts off several years later, with Andy 17 years old, and ready to head to college. This of course causes some problem with his old collection of toys, which are a little young for the soon to be college boy.
In a slight mix up the toys believe they are being thrown away rather than being placed in storage, and this is where Toy Story 3 really kicks off.
The toys in Toy Story 3 embark on an adventure to find a new home after being seemingly abandoned by Andy. Woody, the only Toy Andy had decided to take to college with him, escapes to go and rescue is friends from disaster.
How Does Toy Story 3 Measure Up to it's Predecessors?
Toy Story 3 has a lot to live up to, after all Toy Story was an amazing film, and Toy Story 2 managed to build on that success magnificently. While currently private screenings have been extremely limited, It has however received 100% positive reviews from the 30 critics who have managed to watch the highly anticipated Toy Story 3 movie!
