For a long time I've been hesitant to watch Twilight thinking it is just another boring love story. I didn't even read any reviews about the movie. I had the DVD for a while but couldn't myself to watch it...until yesterday...
While I was sitting alone in the lounge I'd decided to just stick the DVD in the player and see how it goes...As the movie started, I thought it's really a boring movie...but I was very wrong..It wasn't a boring movie after all but an engrossing one. A few minutes later I was very much engulfed in the story...Tale as old as time...but the twist really fascinated me..I love the way Edwards looked at Bella like he's ready to devoured her but at the same time it seemed too intense and sexy...In other words I fell in love with the movie big time!!!After watching it once I watched it again and again...so much for the hesitation...
My favorite scenes and lines...at the restaurant after he saved Bella from the mobster..."I don't have the strenghth to stay away from you" and to that Bella replied " then don't!". I'm at a loss for words to describe that scene...Then that one when Bella told him that she knew what he was...When she said " I'm scared. But I'm not scared of you, I'm just scared of losing you". It seems like I am going to watch it again and again...Then the best so far...was on the dance floor during the Prom when Bella wanted Edward to bite her so they can be with each other forever...That was so sweet when he just kissed her neck instead of biting..."Let's just share a long and happy life".
In my opinion Robert Pattinson is really perfect for the role...he looks rakish and handsome and his facial profile looks so strong and the intense...Kristen Stewart on the other hand, she's pretty and really attractive...I can't wait for the sequel and I can't wait to read the book...
