Review

I would like to qualify this preview I am doing it under tornado watch and I have frequent emergency alerts breaking in as I watch this show.

Carrie and Al are bowling with his former partner Jim Kelly. Jim Kelly is called outside to turn off his car lights when he and his partner are shot down. The partner was supposedly going out for a smoke. This detail bothered me as a smoker wouldn't necessarily be near the car but again I shrieked it off as poetic license. When Carrie and Al arrive on scene the car lights weren't on.

Al's former partner, Al, died. Internal Affairs (IA) believed the murder was a drug deal gone badly. They also believed Jim Kelley was a dirty cop. Al tries to clear his name but find evidence that sustains IA's case. As the investigation builds so do the body count.

Carrie actually figured out the Jim Kelly was actually clean and he was trying to find out who the dirty cops were tipping off the La Shawn the drug dealer.

So the producers are better about showing the clues to the audience as Jim Kelly and his partner, Moyer, weren't shot together as a coincidence. But you will have to see the rest because it is a really good ending and show. Watch the clues carefully in the opening sequences and you can figure it out without there being any foreshadowing.

This show had a slow start but is absolutely fantastic now.
