Waking Life Quotes
Director Richard Linklater's Waking Life is one of my all time favorite movies. It is not a typical movie, in the sense that it doesn't really have a plot. It does, however, have a great deal of philosophical dialogue and artistic imagery. It is impossible to do the movie justice with any description, so here are a few of my favorite Waking Life quotes (along with some great video clips from the movie), with which I hope to entice you to watch the movie if you never have, or, if you already have, to watch it again.

"...reality and God are the same . . . and so what film is actually capturing is, like, God incarnate, creating. You know, like this very moment, God is manifesting as this . . . so film is like a record of God or the face of God, or of the ever-changing face of God."
