Whats your scary movie?

It is hard for me to say what exactly my favorite scary movie would be due to the fact I love all scary movies. Some, I admit are pretty cheesy, while others take the cake.

I guess for me one of the movies that stayed with me the most and made me say dirty words out loud, sending chills down my spine would have to be Red Dragon. Although, Silence of the Lambs, and Pyscho were pretty intense as well.

For gruesome scenes, I would have to say Final Destination was a movie that had me off of my chair with tongue in throat. The only downfall to these types of movies, is once you have seen them, the next time does not quite land the same wallop.

I will always be on the look out for the next great spine chiller, seeking out another great way to waste my time.

Hmmm the original Psycho or the remake with Vince Vaugn?

Well, since I am a fan of Vince Vaugn, I would have to say the remake. Vince Vaugn plays an excellent scary dude, as he also portrayed in Domestic Disturbance.

Yeah, Vaughn did have that creepy little laugh (almost a nervous giggle) which made him a pretty convincing Norman Bates. His towering stature sure helps too! lol. I've never seen Domestic Disturbance, although I know it had a pretty good cast.

Yes, Domestic Disturbance had John Travolta as the good father who comes to the rescue of his son who witnesses his step dad(Vaugn) murder an old partner. Quite good. Some intense moments, some funny moments, and some touching scenes as well. My favorite kind of movie.

The classic 70s/80s slasher films of course, Halloween, Friday the 13th, etc. It's hard to beat a good classic.
