Whitney Houston: My Top 5 Favorite Break Up Songs
I consider myself to be a long time fan of Whitney Houston. I was shocked when I heard the news of her passing. I was really rooting for her to get her life together and anticipating her new movie. Whitney is best known for her sultry voice and chart breaking songs.
As I was going through her music, I noticed the titles of some of her songs could tell a story on their own. I put together a story of my own from my top five favorite Whitney break up songs.
If you have been in a relationship, or know someone who has been in a relationship where there has been suspected cheating, then these songs will be easy to relate to.
Dear Mr. No Good,
I don't know why you do this to me every time. You said you would be here by nine but you're not. You didn't call and I'm sitting here at the "Heartbreak Hotel" trying not to cry. I know you better not be with Susan. The least you could do is be honest. That's why I'm writing this "Dear John Letter." You know I don't like to fuss, I'm still in love with you. But, I'm so frustrated right now I could leave. I'm trying to stay but it's not getting better.
You know what? "It's Not Right But It's Okay". I'm gonna make it anyway. I'd rather be alone than unhappy. I refuse to turn back. "Where Do Broken Hearts Go?" I don't know, but I do know that you still care for me but I'm not what you need, so I'll go.
"I Will Always Love You."
