The WIcked Story

We gain a whole lot of insight into how The Wicked Witch of The West ended up being the ominous character we see on The Wizard of Oz. Her upbringing as a green child is fraught with circumstances beyond her control that mold her personality and viewpoints.
We witness her relationship with her sister, Glinda, the Good Witch of The North, and their rivalry over a common love interest. The story is set before and during Dorothy's arrival from Kansas, and keeps us tied to the familiar story made famous from the movie The Wizard of Oz.

It is a wonderful musical that has earned it's success through great music, story and magical characters.
