Wildflowers And Shrubs In The San Bernardino Mountains

There are various types of shrubs and chaparral that can be admired year around in the San Bernardino Mountains. However, during the spring months the wildflowers are in bloom, and this makes the more deserty parts of the mountain come to life. Some people think that mountains are always covered with a think blanket of trees, but at the chaparral elevation at around five thousand feet and below the trees become more sparse. So if you would like to do so, come take a photo tour of the wildflowers and vegetation that can be spotted in the San Bernardino Mountains on a spring day.

Taking pictures of the scenery on a spring day is always enjoyable, but I also asked the person I was with to take a few pictures of me, so I would know that I was there. Having someone take your picture when you are in a beautiful place gives you options for profile pictures. The best part is you do not even have to pay a professional photographer if you just go out in nature to take portraits.

I enjoyed all the sights and sounds on my walk, but I was especially excited about getting to see the jet stream in the sky next to the moon. Of course the jet stream was not at the same altitude as the moon, but it looks as if they are. If you enjoyed my little photo tour of a walk in the San Bernardino Mountains, then stay tuned for more photo essays I will be creating of my walks around Southern California.

I lived in San Bernardino many years ago. It's nice to see the photos of the mountains. We often went to Big Bear Lake.
