   I'd ask to see her receipt--or give her, the promised, 6 months in jail....she has had a few chances to turn things around and has not decided to change.

   Well indeed he story seems reasonable. In the media biz it is common that jewelery stores borrow jjewelery to actors in order to benefit from the free press. Obviously Mrs. Lohan received aleady a few times from jewellery stores such things. So she had choice to go to any store in order to get such a deal, so why should she steal?
   
   On the other hand i would think that the jewellery shop owner who now accuses her of stealing is receiving now a lot of media attention and may exploit the fact Mrs.Lohan was in prison, because of drugs.
   
   I would say she is the victim in this.

   I would have sentenced her to jail. It annoys me how many times she has gotten away with breaking the law, failing to show up in court, fails to pass drug tests, in and out of rehab, her parents acting ignorant... It really irritates me because if that was me or you we would have been locked up a long long time ago.

   She's been given generous opportunities to fly right...more than I would be privy to.  If I was the judge, I'd stop coddling her and throw her designer ass in jail for the same amount of time as anyone else for the same crime.  She's already proven she believes she is above the law.  If they don't get serious, she'll end up another o.d.  The media would crucify the judge and legal system.

   If I determined that she was guilty of the theft, I would lock her up just the way I or anyone else caught shoplifting would be.  But I would lock her up in a rehab center where she could not leave until doctors determined that she was clean of all drugs and alcohol.  Then I would make her do some type of community service for a long time.

    Well, if she did it, she DID it and should be punished. But of course that only applies to us "little people." Despite her previous brushes with the law and failures at rehab, they'll come up with a way to keep her out of jail.

    Well if she is in fact guilty of this crime and I was the judge I would use her as an example to other young, prima donna's out there who have too much time and money on their hands and I would discipline her to the fullest extent of the law. Why should she be shown any special priviledges just because she is an actress? Although we all know that wont happen and she probably will not do any time and she will do it again and again. Also with all the problems with drugs and alcohol that she has had she will probably eventually kill herself or others while she is drunk and behind the wheel of a car. So she will go the way of many young stars and follow them to the celebrity morgue. Just my two sense!! Cheers.

    If the prosecution proved without reasonable doubt that indeed she was guilty of the crime, I would uphold the law, no question about it.I could even use her previous misfits against her if it could prove her propensity for doing such things.
    
    But if there is even an iota of doubt to such guilt, then I would do otherwise regardless of her previous misfits.

    Send her to Jail for a long time. These people think, because they are famous that they can get away with anything. It you or I did this we would go to jail.
