About 500, I am a movieholic, and I love the cinema too, everything is better in the cinema!
I don't own many. I may have 15. I have a few I would like to add to my collection and a few that I should get rid of. I don't want a large collection. When I watch anything it is usually Hulu or Youtube. I don't like having a lot of "stuff" and I wouldn't know where to put it all, anyway. Let's face it, how often does anyone really watch the movies they own? There maybe a few movie buffs out there who regularly watch from their own collection, but I know that more often than not, I am looking for something different to watch.
I currently own about 780 dvd's I have some silent films and classic comedies by Chaplin and Laurel and Hardy. I own movies in pretty much every genre you could think of and consider myself a movie collector.
I have just over 2500 DVDs and a few hundred BDs. I keep a data base on it all but it needs to be updated. I have a thing for B movies and recently have been buying collection packs. Some have as much as 50 titles in each collection. The obsession will continue.
Last time I checked, around 200. Haven't counted them up in a while though.
As near as I can guess, there are about 1,250 feature length movies, along with many other titles (shorts, specials, sporting events, documentaries, and animated films documented separately). The majority were home recordings on DVD, burned to disc from a DVR. My databases need some serious updating, and I am beginning to think it will never be done. Sigh…
I got so anal about it that I started databases on just about everything imaginable, including listing them by genre, and even separate lists for directors and actors, citing the films of theirs that are in my library.
I watch films that I like over and over. That is what makes a film seem really good. The desire to watch it again. Yesterday I watched The Game again, and enjoyed it as much as the last time I viewed it.
sheesh...I have hundreds of movies. I am an avid movie and tv show collector.
Somewhere in the 100-200 range, most stuff I taped onto VHS.
Hundreds!! I do not have a count. I started collecting movies in VCR days (and still watch them) and moved onto DVDs. There are so many more that I want but because of space and money, I stopped collecting a few years ago.
I do not have an exact count but i have two cd cases that hold 300 each. one is full the other about half full, so roughly 450
i have around 100+ indian or horror movies

Have never counted them but if I had to guess I would say somewhere between 100 and 200. Some are VHS that I just haven't discarded and others are on DVD.
lol in 3months, due to not having cable. I have probably bought an average of 3 movies every week, some days I buy 5 depending on what type of movie is on sale. before that I had maybe about 15movies only, now I have a lot. My family and I what a movie 2times the most. don't really plan on counting all my movies.
Sad to say, but I don't own any movies. I watch movies online or just wait for the companies to show my favorite movies on cable TV.
Well, probably around 200 somewhere, but we usually don't even watch half of them.......
I think I own about 400+ DVDs. My family and I love movies of all genres. The problem with having this many movies is storage and organization. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack to find your favorite movie...lol!

When you watch movies, what is it that sticks out in your mind? Have you seen a really bad one? What made it so bad?
