    not sure which direction this question is coming from...as from a writers point of view or a watchers point of view...but drama is supposed to be serious. there is comedy drama which is a mix  of serious and humor. but plain drama is plain serious. cop shows like criminal minds would be drama. as for something to worry about...if u mean watching...if very serious stuff bothers you then i wouldnt watch some types of drama. it helps to read the summaries of shows to see what they are about. a lot of shows now have trailers and short clips and such on youtube, so if you are interested in a show but not sure, you can check it out first on youtube.

    Maybe both or neither.  A drama movie is supposed to be thought provoking. There can be humor, horror or sadness.  I don't think there is one answer for this.  I have seen many dramas that have a kind of "black humor". I have seen very sad dramas.  So anything goes here.
