    i suppose that is very true! i wasn't ready to watch them yet myself, but that is what DVR is for :)

    I suppose that is a valid point. The only downside is that sometimes we're "sick of" the Christmas season (or at least songs and carols everywhere you turn), jsut in time to actually celebrate Christmas!

    Yes a lot of those countries but decorationsn up later, though they often leave them up for the full 12 days of Christmas until January 6th. I know that in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Italy etc. Epiphany is the big gift giving day not Christmas Day.

    Wow. I knew they played the movies early, but didn't realise just how much air time it added up to over the coruse of a few years. Crazy.

    I do love the Christmas season too - but I also think there's beauty to Thanksgiving and Advent. I wasn't ready for Christmas movies yet so I DVRed them :)
