I saw it years and years ago when it played at the Curran Theater in San Francisco. I loved it. I bought the soundtrack.
I wish I had been able to see it 2 more times, at least. It's one of those shows in which there is so much happening that it is difficult to take it all in on a single visit.
I would have liked to see it three times:
Once to marvel at and study the staging and scene changes (I was with an amateur theater company at the time);
Once for the action/dialog/story line;
and finally, once just for the music.
"Do you hear the people sing; singing the song of angry men..." One of my favorites from that show, and very apropos for today's political climate as well...
