This is true. Jon wasn't even the first host of the Daily show. It was hosted originally by Craig Kilborn I believe for a couple of years, but Jon definitely made it his own. It will be interesting to see what happens.
disagree, taking Jon's place requires someone who will tell the truth with humor. That whole truth thing would automatically disqualify most "journalists" from any major network :)
I disagree - The Daily Show is all about the Fake News!
ok we get it you're conservative good for you ;). Just kidding - sadly, the fake news had a lot more realism to it than "actual" news - but that's a whole other topic.
That was the point I was trying to make. The 'fake' news is so much better than the 'real' news :-) And Brian Williams is just as funny as Jon Stewart. Watch and see. I'm psychic that way.
Is he funny seriously? I'll have to delve into some footage somewhere. If he was funny maybe, but yeah, still can't see it in my mind. plus then the "fake" news would lose more "truthiness" because of his tarnished reputation. hmmm.
I don't know whether Brian is funny either. However, I'll bet we can all make a safe assumption, he's not laughing at this particular time. Poor Brian. I do agree ladies, the Daily Show news is much better & funnier than real news. REAL news?
How about Bill Mahr? He's a news satirist! But he already has his own show, so I'm guessing not.

I agree, even though Jon wasn't the first host, replacing him would be very difficult because he just is the Daily show. Another show/format might be the best idea. Time will tell I guess.
I have to agree. Definitely an end to an era and I always liked Jon because he's able to stick it to anyone - he's skewered plenty of dems and conservatives which earned him my respect over the years. No one delivers it quite like him.
