Should someone take Jon Stewart's place on the Daily Show? or should they just cancel it?

How do you top Jon? I'd say bring back John Oliver, but he's under contract with HBO for a couple of years. Who do you think could fill Jon's shoes? anyone? or should comedy central just scrap the daily show after Jon leaves?

disagree, taking Jon's place requires someone who will tell the truth with humor. That whole truth thing would automatically disqualify most "journalists" from any major network :)

I agree, even though Jon wasn't the first host, replacing him would be very difficult because he just is the Daily show. Another show/format might be the best idea. Time will tell I guess.

This is true. Jon wasn't even the first host of the Daily show. It was hosted originally by Craig Kilborn I believe for a couple of years, but Jon definitely made it his own. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I have to agree. Definitely an end to an era and I always liked Jon because he's able to stick it to anyone - he's skewered plenty of dems and conservatives which earned him my respect over the years. No one delivers it quite like him.
