Those 12 were chosen by Billboard Numbers and the number of times the song was played on the radio.

What do you think about those 12. Did any of them surprise you. Is there a song you thought would have been there.

Is there a favorite of yours on the list. Austin has always been a favorite of mine and I like anything by Johnny Cash.

I like Country Roads by Denver. He died young, his voice is very nice. I also like Kenny Rogers. I don't seem to know the rest.

My favorite is right there where it belongs, #1.  I think it is the perfect country song and has endured throughout the decades.  That song also has an interesting history.

I'm not a huge country fan, but I see a lot of my favorites listed.  My dad was a huge Tennessee Ernie Ford and  Willie Nelson fan, so I grew up hearing these kind of songs.

I think Billboard does a decent job of ranking.  I will admit to having never heard Austin by Blake Shelton.  Now you have me curious.  I'll give a listen.
