of his show?  Do you believe that his no-nonsense approach is a breath of fresh air from the usual talk show hosts? Why? Why not?

I like Steve's way of getting to the point. He's out to protect children and that's great. I typically enjoy his show (but I have trouble with the ones where kids get hurt, it makes me so mad when people can be parents who don't want to be, but I never could ... ah, I digress. However, Steve's dramatic "get off my stage" routine is a little over the top and very predictable. They've drummed this up to create television drama (his own little Springer moment).  Sometimes it's effective but sometimes it's unnecessary or unwarranted.  My problem is that I do not believe that lie detector tests can be 100% accurate (and hence not always admissible in court) but these TV shows do them, and it can be hit or miss.  But if it's miss, people's lives are ruined. I really do like Steve, but sometimes I can see his God-Complex showing through, especiallly when he reads email from people on the show, if there's something that someone says in a negative way (no, I've never written to the show). If anyone says anything negative, he  has to defend himself on the show, instead of listening to the point of the writer (and soometimes, the point is valid). But to answer your question ... it's OK. Funny, though, Steve's a bully --- sometimes it works, sometimes it backfires.
