I agree 110% with you. Definitely my favorite. Loved seeing it live.

Mamma Mia. It may not be opera or The Sound Of Music but ... I love it. And I recently went and watched it once again. And warbled my way through every song.

Threw in a few dance moves too big_smile

        Really? Great smile

I feel the same Davina. But I probably look rather silly. I actually think I'm Meryl Streep or Pierce Brosnan. I have no preference ...

Hard to choose.  There are so many.

Phantom's got nice music.  Les Miserables does too.  Of course, I've always liked Rodgers and Hammerstein, particularly their Cinderella.  Maybe, though, South Pacific is a more worthy favorite, not so much for the music but because it deals with racial prejudice.  When it first showed up in the late 1940's that was a pretty important subject to deal with.

Purlie was great. The singing was superb and so was the plot. It reminded me of high school and the operettas the Glee Club[Music Club] presented like Batsman Bride and HMS Pinafore.
