Pretty self explanatory. What celebrity voices do you like and why? Here's a little starter: James Earl Jones, Morgan Freeman, and Don LaFontaine (the movie trailer announcer guy) all stand out for having very strong, often intense vocal timbres.
Sigourney Weaver narrates Planet Earth, which is part of what makes it so enjoyable.
Ah, Sigoruney Weaver - there's just something about her.Planet Earth is amazing by the way. Its one of the greatest things that's ever been on television.
Kevin Spacey - amazing vpoice and brilliant actor.
Stephen Fry. Quintessentially English
That reminds me of Hugh Laurie. Whether he's speaking as a proper Brit or, convincingly, in his damaged American grumble, he's certainly identifiable. Gotta love those pipes.
I was always partial to Cary Grant
Sam Waterston. His TDWaterhouse commercials almost make me trust in a financial company.
Good - and I must say, unexpected - choices so far. How about some females?I personally like Catherine Keener's raspy, but at times very nurturing and delicate voice. Joan Rivers, who uses it for great comic effect. Emily Watson, who often sounds so coy and inviting. Any others?
ummmmsorry no girls come to mind right now. will think on it.I like David Attenborough. No clue if he is 'famous' or not, but he has a nice voice, for narration.
I'll allow it.I just remembered Werner Herzog. His narration is a big part of what made Grizzly Man so intriguing the first time.
Drew Barrymoreher voice is distinct, I like her laugh, and I think if I could be some other woman, I would like to be her...
Drew's so darn cute too. She's one of the most genuinely likable celebrities we've got these days.
shes been like, I could squish her little facey since ET..super cute!!
"I want a f*#@ing burrito..."
haha, there we go! I was hoping we'd have more oddballs mentioned.
An unconventional choice, indeed.
HAHAHAHHAHThats sooo stupid, ovbiously squidward is a better choice!!
Yeah, you're right.
A Texan, thats the most eloquent public speaker you've mentioned so far.
Sam Elliott...I would recognize that voice anywhere!!!
I agree with some already named.Also...Patrick Stewart has a great voice.
I really like Kate Winslet's voice.
love the british accents...and she's hot!!
Shadoe Stevens, without a doubt.....wrote a hub about him too.
Antonia Banderas. He could narrate erotic fiction with that voice, especially the way he rolls his Rs.
carol kane for most unique voice
Cate Blanchett. I wish she could read to me at night
Julia Roberts, especially her laugh! Contageous much???
Kathleen Turner gets my vote (and pretty much everything else!) and Max von Sydow
I've recently come to the conclusion that Seth MacFarlane has the kind of voice that can charm the pants off of anyone.
The voices of the characters from the Simpsons. You should watch them read lines live. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMOQnJ-SLHIThere are many other videos. They're so much fun to watch! ^_^
Sutherland, either one
Angelina Jolie...I could watch, oops, I meant listen to her read the phone book.
One of the villains in The Three Musketeers, his voice makes me purr! Very sexy! http://thm-a01.yimg.com/image/1a833a54c0198bd6Michael Wincott....Mmmmm
